Feijóo warns that Europe "is already realizing" what is happening in Spain

Alberto Núñez Feijóo returns from Brussels, and from his meeting with the leaders of the European People's Party and the Commission, with the conviction that he has taken steps forward in his objective, that Europe becomes aware of what is happening in Spain. And after meeting with the president of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Layen, and with the vice president, Vera Jourava, he concludes that "in Europe they have already begun to realize what is happening in Spain."

And what is happening is summarized by the president of the PP, in what has happened this week: The admission for processing of the amnesty law proposal, the approval of three investigative commissions, "some of which try to investigate to the judges of the Supreme Court," he said; "a shameful pact for a motion of censure that gives the heir party of a terrorist group the mayorship of the capital of Navarra" and that is crowned with "a speech inappropriate for a head of government and rotating president of the Union", with an intervention which in Feijóo's opinion "was more of a party rally than what it should be, an institutional speech."

A speech, he stressed, in which Pedro Sánchez "treated deputies who treated him with respect without respect, and attempted to instruct parties and politicians with a more respectable political career than his, in addition to discrediting" the entire Spanish Justice system by saying that In Spain there are judges who prevaricate." It is all these things, assured the president of the PP, which has meant that in Europe "Sánchez's speech is beginning to not filter through," which has become "the greatest agent of discredit" of Spain, something of which he accused the PP.

"President Sánchez has managed to make Europe care, a lot, about the institutional situation in Spain", which, he assured in a speech before the governing council of the Reformismo21 Foundation, linked to the PP, "is being the subject of comment in the European Parliament and in the Commission", which means that "the Government's propaganda is beginning to stop filtering into Europe".

Propaganda is starting to stop creeping into Europe.

For Feijóo, it has also been clear that the PSOE "does not want the amnesty law to be examined in Europe", because it knows that "Europe has begun to be aware of the situation in which the Sánchez Government puts the institutions, and that his government is contrary to European values". The PPp has its hopes pinned on Europe to put an end to the amnesty law, because as Feijóo says "decisions, in politics, have effects and impacts on citizens, and in the countries around us, decriminalization of corruption does not come free. , the attempts to control Justice, or go hand in hand with fugitives from Justice, nor that the Government's allies have links with Putin, nor receive congratulations from a terrorist group such as Hamas, or that members of the Government refuse to condemn the Hamas attacks".

That is why the president of the PP intends, by 2024, to "work to stop the economic, social and institutional degradation of Spain, and begin as soon as possible the regeneration and reconstruction of everything that the Government is destroying." His objective for next year is to begin to "rebuild what the President of the Government regrettably and voluntarily insists on doing in our country, and Europe is already realizing what is happening in Spain."
