Estopa and Amaral will visit Cerdanya within the Occident Summerfest

Two big names have joined the lineup for the Occident Summerfest, which this year will celebrate its third edition next August among the mountains of Cerdanya. On the one hand, Estopa, which will pass through the Pyrenean region on August 26 as part of the triumphant tour with which they celebrate 25 years on stage with the presentation of Estopía, the ninth studio album by David and José Muñoz that will go on sale on next March 15. Until now they have been able to listen to El día que tú te marches and La rumba del Pescaílla, which were joined this Friday by La ranchera. The song, an invitation to drink “one drink after another until dawn,” appeared early after a video of a party with Mexican hats where the song played in the background was leaked online. Unexpected surprise before Estopa's own performance this Friday at the Goya gala.

The other novelty on the lineup is Amaral, who last year celebrated the 25th anniversary of the release of his first album, the self-titled Amaral. The artist from Zaragoza breaks out the daisy for the launch of her next album, her ninth, performing in her live performances the hits that have accompanied so many personal stories such as Without you I am nothing, I would die for you or Como speaking, the same ones that will be played on the 22nd of August on the Puigcerdà stage.

The ABBA tribute band The new experience and El Pot Petit (August 18 and 19 respectively) have also been confirmed for the festival organized by Clipper's Music that will feature The Tyets, who continue with the presentation of the successful Èpic solete. Luz Casal will do the same with The Windows of My Soul, the last work of her long career, while Joan Dausà will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Jo Mai Mai, with which she recently filled the Palau Sant Jordi. Along with them Taburete, a festival classic that sold out in previous editions, as well as Álvaro de Luna and Marlon, who will celebrate the inaugural concert on August 17.
