Espanyol believes in the 'process' to beat Racing de Ferrol

Coaches usually appeal to good play when the results do not come. This is the case, half, of Luis García at Espanyol. Not because of the lack of good football, but because the results are not negligible at the beginning of the season. However, both he, the team and the entity ask for much more. Therefore, far from being defeatist, after losing in Tenerife he has tried to transform frustration into optimism by referring to the process the team is going through to adapt to the category. A speech that is not far from reality but that must be endorsed as soon as possible with a victory, that is, against Racing de Ferrol (9:00 p.m.).

Luis García is clear about it. For him, his team came out "very strengthened from the defeat against Tenerife (1-0)." Why, because of the large number of chances generated, the coach argues that he knows that this is "difficult to explain." Especially those who are only left with "the result", but he and his coaching staff look "quite a bit further": "We believe in the process. We have managed the defeat very well and that day the football was quite unfair, but we We continue analyzing with self-criticism," he concedes.

Now it's time to show that this optimism is not complacency or overconfidence, another of the parakeet team's problems this season. In fact, Racing de Ferrol has only lost one game away from home (against Eibar, 2-0) and is emerging as a balanced and seamless rival, nothing different from Amorebieta and Eldense. Currently, the Galicians are seventh in the competition and are, with six goals, among those who concede the least in the Second Division.

On paper, Espanyol will have to take the lead in the match against a rival who will live closer to their own goal. For Luis García, Espanyol "has been able to generate advantages and opportunities" in this type of match against teams that are, on paper, smaller in size.

Another of the blue and white team's pending issues is to appear in the Stage Front without conceding two goals in the first half. Facing two recently promoted players, Amorebieta and Eldense, they had to be epic to avoid defeat. Now the third newly promoted in a row arrives. Suffering another nonsense of that type would not be acceptable.
