Eleven people have been injured and two of them have been taken to a hospital as a result of the collision that occurred this Wednesday afternoon on Avenida del Cid in València between a car and an EMT bus, to which the first broke the rear window.
According to municipal sources, the accident, which occurred in the vicinity of the Local Police headquarters and whose causes have not been specified, has left the driver of the car trapped by the airbag, who had to be freed by firefighters and transported by the SAMU to the General Hospital.
Another SAMU ambulance has also evacuated to that hospital one of the injured passengers, who had several cuts and had lost consciousness, which she recovered before her transfer.
Nine more people have been injured to various degrees although, after being checked by health care personnel at the scene, they have not required further attention. The bus driver, after also being inspected, has continued working without incident.
