Daniel Sancho's former lawyer in Thailand is angry at Rodolfo Sancho: "A lack of respect"

The case of the murder of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta in Thailand, whose authorship the Spaniard Daniel Sancho confessed last August, continues to attract everyone's attention. The son of actor Rodolfo Sancho remains in provisional detention in Koh Samui prison waiting for the completion of the investigation report that will be presented to the Prosecutor's Office, essential for the trial to take place.

A trial for which you need a local lawyer to represent you, since it is a legal imperative in the Asian country. Sancho was represented until a few days ago by Kunh Anan Chuaypraba, but Rodolfo Sancho announced that he would no longer do so. A decision that was supposed to be friendly, but the Thai lawyer has made it clear that it was not, as he has declared that he considers what happened "a lack of respect" on the part of the well-known actor, claiming to be angry and "fed up."

The reasons for the dismissal of Anan as a lawyer who looked after the interests of Daniel Sancho have come to light, and one of them would be the bad relationship that would have existed between Anan and the new representation team of Rodolfo Sancho's son in Spain. led by criminal lawyer Marcos García Montes, who would strongly disagree with the methods being used in the investigation, very different from those in Spain.

Alejandro Rodríguez, a reporter posted in Thailand for the TardeAR program, spoke in person with the Thai lawyer, who is not at all happy with the development of events. As Rodríguez explained, Anan "found it to be an absolute lack of respect that neither the Spanish lawyers nor Rodolfo Sancho spoke with him at any time when he was entrusted with the case of his son."

According to the Thai lawyer, the way Rodolfo Sancho and Marcos García Montes proceed is something he had never seen before. "In his 20 years of experience, nothing so grotesque had ever happened to him," the reporter explained, adding that the lawyer had only managed to speak with the protagonist of El Ministerio del Tiempo, but that he was hardly of any use.

"It was at the Bangkok airport when Rodolfo was about to take a plane to return to Spain. They spoke for only 15 minutes. Anan says that that conversation was of no use to him," said Rodríguez.

At the moment, it seems that Daniel Sancho faces a very unpromising future, but it will also be in Thailand, since Spain has rejected the extradition of the young man for his pending cases. At the moment, the family would be looking for a new Thai lawyer to change their defense strategy and be prepared for the trial.

According to Cierre Digital, they would already have a new lawyer, ""the son of Mr Lak Nitiwatanawichan, now deceased." This lawyer is known in the Asian country, especially after representing the Soviet businessman and arms trafficker Viktor But, alias 'the Merchant of Death', in 2008, after being arrested in the Asian country in a joint operation carried out by several countries with the assistance of Interpol.
