Consuelo Ordoñez charges against the youth of the PP for their t-shirts with the slogan "vote you Txapote"

The president of the Covite victims' collective, Consuelo Ordoñez, has charged against the New Generations of the PP and against several members of the party, who posed on social networks with t-shirts with the slogan "vote you Txapote". The sister of Gregorio Ordóñez, a popular councilor murdered by ETA and, specifically, by Xabier García Gaztelu Txapote himself, has reproached them for using the murder of her family member, despite knowing the pain it causes.

"You are not ashamed", he wrote about the images posted by the popular youth and by the party spokesperson in Rivas Vaciamadrid and deputy in the Madrid Assembly, Janette Novo. These images were later deleted from social networks.

"You know that we have expressed for months how painful that repugnant slogan is for us. But knowing our pain, you repeat it again. Would you like a slogan with the name of the murderer of your parents to become fashionable, brothers?" , has censored on his Twitter account.

It is not the first time that the sister of the councilor assassinated by ETA in 1995 charges against the popular for using ETA terrorism politically.

In the electoral campaign for the May 28 elections, Consuelo Ordóñez reproached Isabel Díaz Ayuso for “trivializing” terrorism and not “respecting” the dead and their families. “It is trivialization in its purest form. They do not respect the dead, they are going to respect their relatives ... ”, she pointed out, after the president of the Community of Madrid said that“ ETA is alive and in power ”.

In addition, Ordoñez already responded to Díaz Ayuso when last February he attacked the PSOE seeking notoriety through the proclamation "that I vote for you Txapote", which was tried to go viral on social networks.

The president of Covite then accused him of "lack of principles." "The victims deserve to be treated with respect, trivializing with a hashtag the murderer of so many innocents, including my brother Gregorio Ordóñez, shows his lack of principles and how little he cares about us," she said.
