Chelsea seeks to overcome the goal deficit against Dortmund

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the first two classified for the quarterfinals of the Champions League will be defined. At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have the difficult mission of overcoming the goal deficit that they brought from Dortmund. Chelsea is the team that invested the most in the winter market (about 330 million) and being dropped so soon did not enter any pool.

For the match, Graham Potter, the Chelsea coach, has the absences of Thiago Silva, Mason Mount, N'golo Kanté, César Azpilicueta and Edouard Mendy. With just six wins since he replaced Thomas Tuchel in September, Potter is by numbers among the worst managers in Chelsea's history and if he does not reach the quarterfinals, not only will he be without incentives this season, he may also be out of a job.

The London team is penalized above all for their lack of goals. He has scored just two in the last seven games. The winning goal this Saturday was scored by a central defender, Wesley Fofana, and the previous one, Joao Félix. The last goal of a nine in this Chelsea was made by Kai Havertz against Crystal Palace, on January 15.

Borussia Dortmund comes into the game on a ten-game winning streak. They are tied in the Bundesliga with Bayern, who lead only by better goal difference. The German team appears in London with two casualties in attack, Youssufa Moukoko and Karim Adeyemi, the latter the author of the only goal in the first leg.

In the other match, Porto should have no problem beating Bruges, which they already beat 2-0 in Belgium.
