CCOO proposes improvements to increase Avant seats between Lleida and Barcelona up to 60% during rush hour

CCOO of Lleida has presented a report with proposals to increase the number of seats on the Avant trains between Lleida and Barcelona between 40% and 50% on average, and up to 60% in the period with the highest demand, between 6 and 8 in the morning. The union's proposal involves including one more train in the peak hour slot and reserving discounted Avant seats on 6 AVE trains in each direction that already stop in Lleida.

They also ask to reduce the price of the general fare ticket to 20.10 euros. The measures would allow us to go from 1,080 seats per day on weekdays to around 1,600 and thus reverse the current lack of supply that causes tickets to be sold out three weeks in advance. Renfe says it will study the proposal.
