October 16. A family from Almacelles (Lleida) files a complaint against a neighbor of their town for breaking into their house and only taking women's underwear. He was arrested on Saturday. The complaining family presented the images from their security cameras in which the accused was seen in the home. According to the Mossos d'Esquadra, the thief is only interested in lingerie.
The detainee, a prison officer, did not take any money or jewelry from the home, only female intimate clothing.
Investigators arrested him last Friday and searched his home with a warrant. They would have found several stolen items of clothing, according to Segre.
The detainee was transferred to the Mossos d'Esquadra police station in Lleida, from where, after testifying in the case, he was brought to judicial custody in the Canyeret courts. The court on duty ordered his release with charges.
The investigation proceedings are only being followed for a crime of robbery with force, for accessing properties in order to steal clothes. The Mossos d'Esquadra continue the investigation, which is in an initial phase, to determine if the arrested person could have raided other homes.
