Bean drink, an easy recipe to add legumes to breakfast and snack

Milk alternatives are booming. In the supermarket it is now common to find completely plant-based options, made of oats, soy or rice, next to traditional bottles of milk. However, it is possible to combine the two options to obtain a vegetable milk made with legumes and enjoy all its benefits outside of lunch and dinner.

The Alícia Foundation proposes this milk-based white bean drink recipe where it prioritizes local products, from small agri-food producers and PIMES. For this reason, the legumes chosen are Fesol de Santa Pau, a Garrotxa variety with a Protected Designation of Origin, as part of the Innovation Program, included in the Food Strategy of Catalonia.
