Barça assaults Riazor and reconquers the League title

Barça stormed the Riazor Sports Palace this Thursday (3-6) and reconquered the Parlem OK Liga, the 33rd in its history and the ninth in the last decade, thanks to goals from Pau Bargalló (3), Joao Rodrigues (2) and Marc Grau.

Supported by their fans, Deportivo Liceo took the lead twice on the scoreboard, led in attack by a hat trick from Bruno Di Benedetto, and fought until the final stretch of the match, in which they ended up giving up in an even outcome before the punch of the Catalan team.

Unlike the first two games in the final, played at the Palau Blaugrana, the Galician team was the first to score thanks to a quick transition finished off by Di Benedetto (1-0, min.4). Far from being intimidated, Barça tied in a rogue action carried out by Bargalló.

The Catalan player stole the ball behind the Galician goal and served the equalizing goal on a tray to Joao Rodrigues (1-1, min.7). About a quarter of an hour into the game, the assistant dressed as a scorer and culminated the comeback in an individual action on the counterattack (1-2).

The reply from A Coruña came straight away, in a first shot by Di Benedetto (2-2, min.17) that established the tie before the break. After going through the changing rooms, the greens took the lead with Di Benedetto's third goal of the night (3-2, min.33).

But Barça had not yet said the last word. Martí Serra saved a penalty from Helder Nunes, but he could not avoid Bargalló's equalizer in a direct free kick action after the Galician team's tenth offense (3-3, min.37). The duel entered the decisive phase.

Bargalló, after picking up a rebound, put Barça ahead (3-4, min.45). Faced with Liceo's desperate attempt to tie the match, Joao Rodrigues and Marc Grau increased the gap to an empty goal in the final stretch, in which tension arose with a scuffle that ended with several players sent off.
