The company's Commercial and Revenue Director, Jaime de la Puente, has pointed out that “this ship will be a faster, more innovative and sustainable way to travel from Barcelona to Menorca and Mallorca throughout the year.”

In addition, De la Puente has had a positive impact on the acquisition and positioning of the Rusadir cruise ferry in connections with Melilla, where it has established itself as “a sustainable, modern and competitive maritime transport service for residents and other customers.”

Likewise, Baleària has reaffirmed its commitment to Canary Islands traffic in its fifth year of joint activity with Fred.Olsen Express. This 2024, the shipping companies have confirmed the introduction of a third weekly departure for passengers with the Sicilia ferry, one of the shipping company's smart ships equipped with dual natural gas engines.
