Arrested for shooting the bouncer of a nightclub with a shotgun who did not let them enter

The National Police have arrested three men between 41 and 45 years old in Orihuela for shooting the bouncer of a nightclub with a slug gun after he did not allow them access to the premises. The victim remains admitted to the hospital, with minor injuries to his lower extremities, but out of danger.

The events occurred around six in the morning, when Room 091 received a notice alerting of an incident between three men and the doorman of a leisure establishment, according to police sources.

Apparently, the doorman prohibited them from entering the premises since they showed "obvious" symptoms of drunkenness. As a result, a "heated" argument occurred between them. At a certain point, the three clients, "annoyed," left the place, but returned minutes later aboard a vehicle. One of them was armed with a slug gun, with which he shot three times at the local worker, who was injured in the legs by the impact of the slugs.

The three attackers left the scene, although thanks to the rapid simultaneous action between agents assigned to the Citizen Assistance Group of the Citizen Security Brigade of the National Police Station in Orihuela, they were able to be located minutes later, while they communicated the characteristics of the aggressors that the 'in situ' witnesses told them.

The three men have been arrested for attempted murder. Furthermore, the alleged perpetrator of the shooting has a precautionary measure in force that prohibits him from carrying weapons, for which he is also charged with the crime of breach of precautionary measure.

After cordoning off the scene of the events, the Scientific Police Brigade has carried out the pertinent Police Technical Ocular Inspection to collect "all possible evidence" to clarify the facts.

The National Police is still working to locate and intervene the shotgun with which the shots were fired, in addition to collecting statements from witnesses, victims and alleged perpetrators to inform the Orihuela Police Investigative Court.
