Arrested for drinking beer while driving, falsifying documents and testing positive for drugs

This weekend the Provincial Police of Navarra arrested a driver of a vehicle in Bera that posed a serious problem for road safety. At the time he was hunted by the agents, he was committing half a dozen infractions and crimes.

The first was that he was drinking beer while driving. It was for that reason that they ordered him to stop the vehicle. When they asked for documentation, they saw that he was driving with an expired driver's license and without mandatory insurance. In addition, they verified that the ITV label that referred to 2024 had been falsified and that it has not passed the relevant review since 2015.

The driver tested positive for drugs and for the seizure of narcotic substances. He was arrested on the spot.

In the same Navarrese town, last Saturday four people were slightly injured after leaving the road and the vehicle in which they were traveling on the N-121-A in Bera collided with a wall.

As a result of the collision, a 30-year-old man, two women aged 26 and 23, and a child aged 1 year and 8 months who suffered multiple contusions with a mild prognosis were taken to the Bidasoa Hospital in Irún.
