Angus Cloud, 'Euphoria' actor, dies at 25

Actor Angus Cloud, known for his role as Fezco in the series Euphoria, passed away this Monday at the age of 25.

"It is with a heavy heart in our hearts that today we had to say goodbye to an incredible being. As an artist, friend, brother and son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways," the interpreter's family said in a statement addressed to national media.

The interpreter died at his parents' house in Oakland, CA but the causes of his death are still unknown.

However, his relatives pointed out that the young man had been "fighting intensely" against the loss of his father, who died a week earlier and asked for privacy for the family.

"Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope his death can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence," the family added.

Despite his short career in the industry, Cloud positioned himself as one of the promises of Hollywood thanks to the role of Fezco in the HBO teen series Euphoria, being one of the protagonists of the first two seasons of the project led by Zendaya.

The actor participated in films such as The Line and North Hollywood and was part of music videos such as Mamiii by Becky G and Karol G or Cigarrettes by Juice WRLD.

The actor had titles pending release such as Freaky Tales, by Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, in which he starred alongside Ben Mendelsohn, Pedro Pascal and Jay Ellis, or Your Lucky Day, by Dan Brown.
