Mossos d'Esquadra from the Santa Coloma de Gramenet police station (Barcelonès Nord) arrested a 46-year-old man on March 11 as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation, a crime of threats.
Around 8:00 p.m. the agents went to Mossèn Jacint Verdaguer Street in Santa Coloma de Gramenet as they had received several notices reporting that there was a man with a knife.
At the same time, an off-duty Mossos d'Esquadra agent located, on Mozart Street, a man carrying a knife who, according to witnesses, had just robbed a coupon seller. The agent took the knife from him and reduced him.
The patrol spoke with the victim and informed them that a man had just intimidated him with a knife and had stolen 185 euros from him. A woman, who wanted to help him, also received a threat from the man with the knife.
