The port of Tarragona registered a 79.6% increase in grain traffic compared to July last year, which translates into 732.124 million tons.
It is the third best month in the history of the port entity, only surpassed in January of this year and in October 2022.
So far this year, more than four million tons of cereals have been exceeded.
On the other hand, in July 1.72 million tons of liquids were moved in abundance and 15,904 vehicles.
According to the agency, the movement of ships at the dock has also grown by 4.1% more than in the same period last year, to more than 200 stopovers.
In general terms, the total freight traffic in the port of Tarragona accumulates a growth of 3.7%, exceeding 19 million tons.
