Actress Shannen Doherty reveals her brain metastasis diagnosis: "I'm terrified"

Terrified. This is how the actress Shannen Doherty, known for her role as Brenda Walsh in the mythical 90210 Sensation of living, who has shared some very harsh images to tell how she is in the process of her disease, confesses. The actress has been fighting stage four breast cancer for years and, unfortunately, a few months ago they gave her the worst news: specialists found metastases in her brain.

She herself has been the one who has communicated to her followers what happened, wanting to draw attention to how hard it is to fight this disease.

"January 12, 2023. On January 5, my CT scan showed metastases in my brain. Yesterday's video showed the process of adjusting the mask he uses during radiation in his brain," he explains, recounting that that January 12 January the first round of radiation was carried out.

"My fear is obvious. I am extremely claustrophobic and there was a lot going on in my life. I am lucky because I have great doctors like Dr. Amin Mirahdi and the amazing technicians at Cedars Sinai. But that fear… The turmoil… The moment when that everything was happening... This is how cancer can look," he ends.

Some very harsh images in which you can see the 52-year-old actress crying, totally terrified. Since she was diagnosed with the disease in 2015, the actress announced two years later that she was in remission, only to reconfirm that the cancer had returned again in 2020.

"Is it pretty? No, but it's true and I hope that by sharing we all educate ourselves and become more familiar with what cancer really is," the actress said on Instagram in October 2021, when one of her followers asked her why she shared " the bad" of the disease.

Images that are not pleasant, but real and with the aim of making people aware so that they take the necessary tests for the early detection of this type of disease. In her case, regular mammograms or checkups, whatever to "get over the fear and face whatever is in front of her."

Just a month ago, the actress also announced that she was divorcing her husband, Kurt Iswarienko, after eleven years of marriage. A very complicated separation, because a few days ago new information appeared that suggests that the actress's ex-husband would have been unfaithful to her while she faced her illness alone.
