A water mirror to see Montserrat

The Parc de l'Agulla, in Manresa, forms a mirror of water with its lake to see the Montserrat mountain reflected. It is not only the largest park in the Bages region, but a large nature reserve that houses more than 600 trees of 20 different species.

In the background you can see the unmistakable silhouette of the Montserrat mountain, as seen in this photograph that I share in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.

This park is the leisure space par excellence of the city of Manresa. Since 1974, its central lake has stored water for Manresa homes, with about 200 million liters of capacity.

Surrounding the lake, there are large areas with grass, a picnic area and spaces for children's play and sports. You can also observe the fauna, especially the birds.

The park is a perfect space to enjoy the fantastic views of the north face of the Montserrat mountain, as we see in this snapshot.
