A shooting outside a nightclub in Seville East leaves one seriously injured

The 'Sevilla Este Living' nightclub in the capital of Seville is once again at the center of controversy and of the neighbors, already fed up with the fights and scandals that take place at the doors of the establishment. The latest conflict between some of the restaurant's customers took place today at 4:30 a.m. and was resolved, literally, with shots. The scientist was working in the area this morning to collect evidence.

This has been confirmed by sources from the Emergency Service, from where it has been reported that a person was seriously injured by a firearm and had to be rushed to the Virgen del Rocío Hospital.

According to the newspaper ABC, the event took place in a nightlife establishment located on Emilio Lemos Street, in the heart of the Seville East neighborhood, this morning. It would have been the occupants of a car, which approached the premises at high speed, who would have shot at another group of people, leaving one seriously injured.

The nightclub itself, as confirmed by a resident of the neighborhood to La Vanguardia, is the source of many problems. Many of the residents of the area have denounced the conflicts that are generated at their doors and the insecurity that their clients cause to the rest of the citizens. Social networks have also been the means by which some of the neighbors have on occasion requested the mayor of the city, José Luis Sanz, to close the establishment.

The problems arising from the 'Sevilla Este Living' nightclub, a place that has changed its name on several occasions, are not only limited to sporadic fights between its users but is also the meeting point for some reckless drivers. who carry out illegal car races in the neighborhood.

Specifically, as this neighbor told us, the races take place in an open field near the Tamarguillo Park, right on the esplanade where the Alcosa Market takes place on Sundays. The area was delimited by fences but "it has been of no use because races continue to be held there," she details.
