A PP senator calls the vice presidents of the Government "grupis"

The full control of the Government, in the Senate, once again became a pile of criticism and disqualifications between the Government and the PP, with a majority in the Upper House, this Tuesday, bordering on insult.

The critical moment came when PP senator Vicente Azpitarte asked the Government about the appointment of Miguel Ángel Oliver as president of the EFE Agency, and highlighted the journalist's connections with Pedro Sánchez, for whom he has been secretary of state for communications.

It was then that Azpitarte stressed to Vice President María Jesús Montero "you and the group of vice presidents of this Government are mere groupies of the worst president of democracy."

It was first the deputy spokesperson of the Socialist Group who asked to speak to emphasize that "the decorum of the chamber must be maintained throughout the session", and the words of the popular senator, in his opinion, "are a clear insult to an institution, in in this case the presidency of the Government".

After the senator, the fourth vice president, María Jesús Montero, spoke, showing her surprise at the comment, which she considered sexist. "I don't know if she disrespects the Government, or she says it because we are women," and she wondered if He and his group mates were "Feijóo groupies".
