A Palestinian journalist dies along with eleven members of his family after a bombing

The journalist from the Palestine TV network, Mohamed Abu Hatab, died this Thursday night along with eleven members of his family, including his wife, his son and his brother, after a bombing by the Israeli Army against the city of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Abu Hatab had been working live for just an hour before his death; With him there are now four journalists from the network - more than 30 in total - who have died in the bombings that began on October 7, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

In addition, attacks by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in recent hours have killed another 15 people in Gaza City, including journalist Mohamed al Bayari.

On the other hand, the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza City has announced the death of four cancer patients. Only one day has passed since their activities ceased due to the latest bombings by Israel and the lack of fuel to keep health services operational.

Likewise, the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA) has confirmed the death of two more of its workers, bringing the total to 72.

The number of Palestinians killed as a result of the Israeli Army's offensive against the Gaza Strip after the attacks carried out on October 7 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has exceeded the barrier of 9,000, as indicated this Thursday by the authorities of the Palestinian enclave, controlled by the Islamist group.

For their part, Israeli authorities have confirmed nearly 1,400 dead and more than 240 kidnapped after the Hamas incursion into the south of the country.
