A minor under the age of 15 has been stabbed at the Sol de Portocarrero institute, located in the Costacabana neighborhood of Almería, when he was trying to mediate a fight, according to the National Police.
Sources from the Almería Police Station have reported that on Thursday morning he filed a complaint for the assault by a knife suffered by one of the students of this educational center, although no arrests have been made so far.
They have explained that, according to the statements collected, around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday there was a fight outside the center between two groups of high school students, apparently related to the alleged theft of a mobile terminal.
The next day, one of those groups asked for "reinforcements" from family and friends, who jumped over the fence of the institute, "pricking a student who was trying to mediate between the two sides," the National Police have pointed out.
Upon arrival, the police officers collaborated with the health services in the care of the injured minor, who presented a two-centimeter incisive-contusion wound on his left side, although his life is not in danger.
At that time, none of those involved were found at the scene, so the agents are now working on their identification.
The Police have indicated that some statements suggest that the young people who jumped the center's fence were former students of the institute, but they have specified that for the moment it has not been possible to prove the reality of all these demonstrations.
For their part, sources from the Torrecárdenas de Almería University Hospital have indicated that the 15-year-old attacker is admitted to said center accompanied by his family, where he has undergone surgery and has already been transferred to the ward.
