No person who goes in a bathrobe, pajamas or slippers will be allowed to carry out any procedure at the Marchal town hall. This is explained on a sign located at the door of this Granada municipality of barely 400 inhabitants. The decision, adopted by the Government team, is explained by a question of respect and decorum towards the institution's officials, as well as the rest of the residents.
The new instruction has taken citizens by surprise. Some are clearly in favor of this measure while others, alluding to individual freedom, criticize it.
Be that as it may, the debate is served. And it has become known that for some time now there is a considerable number of marchers who go to the town hall to carry out any administrative procedure in pajamas or with "unseemly" clothing. Tired of this situation being repeated too often, the city council has taken action on the matter and for the moment has posted this sign which, a priori, will remain visible to citizens for a long time.
