A four-year-old minor fell yesterday afternoon onto 48 Illescas Street, in the Aluche district, from the window of a fourth floor in a gated community, near the swimming pool.
The creature, according to witnesses on the block, fell right on top of a hedge, which cushioned its fall, reports Telemadrid.
The same sources indicate that he remained tangled in the branches of the hedge until the emergency services and the National Police arrived.
The child cried a lot due to the blows from the fall and was transferred to the San Carlos Clinical Hospital, where he remains admitted. His prognosis is stable and police officers are investigating the incident. It is assumed that the parents' statements will be taken today to investigate what happened.
