This is what the new Tintin game looks like in its first trailer with gameplay

The French publisher Microid and the Madrid-based Pendulo Studios have published a new trailer for Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh, a new video game starring the young journalist Tintin. It is an adventure title with action, exploration and puzzle sections, which adapts the album of the same title published by Hergé in 1932.

The adventure begins with this intrepid journalist and his dog Snowy searching for the tomb of Pharaoh Kih-Oskh, after meeting Professor Sarcophagus. But things will get complicated and Tintin will end up investigating an international drug trafficking network, which will take him from Egypt to India, passing through the Middle East.

In the video published by Microid and Pendulo Studios you can also see gameplay of the game. Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh will have stealth and infiltration sections, lots of exploration and puzzles. In addition, players will also be able to drive cars and even a small plane.

This new Tintin game is based on a story published by Hergé in December 1932 in Le Petit Vingtième, the youth supplement of the Belgian newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle. Throughout their history, Tintin's adventures comics have sold more than 275 million copies worldwide.

Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh will arrive this November 7 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PC. At the end of the month, it will also be released on Xbox One and, sometime in 2024, it will also arrive on Nintendo Switch. The minimum recommended age to play Tintin's new adventure is seven years old.
