Laporta wants Barça One to be a "reference for all Barcelona fans"

Barcelona dressed up for the presentation and launch of Barça One, its new audiovisual streaming application, which was born with the desire to be the Netflix of Barça. The event, at the Torre Glòries, was attended by Joan Laporta's entire board of directors and also by the entire squad of the football team, including the injured Gavi and the coach, Xavi Hernández.

“Barcelona fans are in luck. “Barça One will be the reference platform for culés from all over the world,” said Laporta to encourage people to download it. Barça One was launched yesterday and is free, although it has a premium subscription for 1.99 per month.

Nine months after the closure of Barça TV, the Blaugrana club launches this new application to communicate and inform its members and followers. In it you can find live broadcasts, news, programs, documentaries and 1,500 hours of archives of historical matches. “We will be able to see the Joan Gamper Trophy every year and also youth football matches, which people asked us a lot about,” explained Toni Cruz, general director of Barça One. This way we will be able to closely follow and keep an eye on the future Lamine Yamal or Cubarsí from the quarry.

“The happiest with the application is my mother, who always wants to see everything,” Xavi Hernández discovered about Maria Mercè's passion. “For the culés it will be a real vice,” predicted the first team coach, who assured that he will review all the documentaries ‘Remember, mister’, about the key coaches in the club's history.

The event, hosted by comedian Charlie Pee, was also attended by the handball, indoor soccer, and roller hockey teams. From women's football, Marta Torrejón, Cata Coll, Jana Fernández and Gemma Font came forward. Barça Atlètic coach Rafa Márquez also attended.
