Juventus fans ask Lukaku to stay at Inter

Romelu Lukaku's future is aboard a drifting ship. The Belgian striker seems to find his place nowhere, and more than that, he has met with rejection from fans everywhere. Currently with an English Chelsea record, Lukaku played last season on loan at Inter Milan, and sounded strong to reach Juventus for the following course.

But in Turin they don't want it. The Vecchia Signora fans have protested angrily against the signing of the striker. A banner from the ultras has sent a very clear message to the club's board of directors: "Lukaku, stay in Milan. We already have a second goalkeeper", in reference to the goal that the Belgian prevented in the Champions League final after a shot by Federico Dimarco.

In addition, after a friendly match, the fans invaded the Allianz Stadium field to protest against the board for their interest in the attacker. With a single voice, in the middle of the field, hundreds of people made clear the almost unanimous position of the team's supporters with the cry "We don't want Lukaku!".

Rumors of an agreement in which Lukaku would arrive at Juve and Dušan Vlahović would end up in London were what started the popular movement to avoid the deal. However, from Chelsea they are not entirely convinced with Vlahović and now the clear position of the Juventus fans seems to indicate that the exchange will not happen.

But this has been another problem for Lukaku. His interest in reaching 'Juve' has not gone down well in Milan, where the fans resent that the striker has even considered leaving one of his greatest rivals. Javier Zanetti, legend of the Neroazurri and vice-president of the team declared that "Because of what Inter has done for him, we expected a different behavior".

Now the Belgian is not welcome in Milan or Turin, and in London, the home of the club that owns his file, they don't want him either. His poor performance with Chelsea was excuse enough, but the striker made the situation worse. At the end of 2021 he declared, still a blues footballer, that his wish was to one day return to Inter, which evidently did not go down well in the stands at Stamford Bridge.

To this day, Lukaku is not even wanted by the fans of Chelsea, Inter and Juve, and he is not particularly loved by the fans of Manchester United and Everton, two of his former teams. At 30 years old, he is living a nightmare, and the only thing that is clear about his future is that he will not be remembered with special affection in the clubs for which he has played in recent years.
