F1: Formula 1 Saudi Arabia GP | Schedule and where to see the classification and race of Alonso and Sainz

Formula 1 does not rest and travels to Saudi Arabia to celebrate the second grand prix of the season at the Jeddah circuit. This will be the second of the 24 races that make up the longest world championship in history, and in which we must add the 6 sprint races it contains. As happened last week, the race will also be held on Saturday and not Sunday due to Ramadan.

Max Verstappen opened the world championship by adding one more victory to his record, conquering the Sakhir track. His teammate, Sergio 'Checo' Pérez was second and Carlos Sainz third.

Fernando Alonso, for his part, was ninth. He added two points to the scoreboard and managed to finish ahead of his teammate, Lance Stroll, who closed the points zone. However, the Aston Martins suffered in this fight for the top of the grid, and were left behind the Mercedes (Russell fifth and Hamilton seventh), and the McLaren (Norris sixth and Piastri eighth). In fact, the papayas have started as strong as they finished the last championship. For his part, Leclerc was fourth.

Jeddah is a very fast route and is run between walls at a maximum speed of 337 km/h. There are only 9 specific braking points. Because of the traffic jams that are constantly on the circuit, it is very easy to overheat the tires.

There are 3 DRS zones and a high probability of a safety car coming out. With an average speed of approximately 252 km/h, Jeddah becomes a faster track than Silverstone, and is just behind Monza.
