The Champions League is getting closer, and the most important date, the final, is already known. On June 1, 2024, the team that will take home the great European trophy after playing at Wembley Stadium will be revealed.

Today, August 31, the draw for the 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League group stage will take place, where Pep Guardiola's Manchester City is the champion. Five Spanish teams will face each other: FC Barcelona (league champion), Sevilla FC (UEFA Europa League champion), Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad.

The 32 teams that will fight for the throne this season will find out today in which groups they are drawn for the first phase of the competition. The draw will take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, and the 26 automatically qualified teams will be in the drums, as well as the six winners of the play-off round. Here are the confirmed clubs:

The 32 teams will be divided into eight groups of four teams. In pot 1 we find the reigning champion of the Champions League, the winner of the UEFA Europa League and six national champions, who will be the top seeds in each group. Regarding pots 2, 3 and 4, the classification coefficient of the clubs will be taken into account.

The draw for the 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League group stage will take place today, Thursday, August 31, at 6:00 p.m.
