Alonso's attack on Alpine and Ocon: "The free are their moment"

The relationship between Fernando Alonso and his former team, Alpine, continues without being redirected after the Asturian left through the back door, which the French team did not want to renew due to his age. Neither with Esteban Ocon, his partner for the last two years, the relationship did not end well.

The Spaniard expected a lot from Alpine but they peaked in fourth place. The Frenchmen chose not to renew the Spanish and Alonso went to Aston Martin where he has managed to shine again. Now, the British team is second in the Constructors' World Championship and the French has only eight points in four events.

With these precedents, in the last minutes of the second free practice in Miami, Alonso ran into Ocon, who stopped him when he was trying a fast lap to move up the table and test himself with a view to the qualifying session.

Seeing himself in the way, the man from Oviedo had to cut off the track, although he did not hold back on the radio. "Alpine is racing us in free practice," he said. "Yes, be careful now. You were on a fast lap," his engineer replied. "Yes, understood. Free practice is your time," proclaimed the Aston Martin.
