Vox's Agriculture Minister charges against "climate fanaticism" and the "perverse 2030 Agenda"

Vox knows that the countryside is one of the battlefields where it is most comfortable - "Vox is the party of the countryside," it has come to say - and this Thursday, in Les Corts Valencianes, it has displayed all its political ideology with statements that They question climate change and censor environmentalism. In his speech on the platform to present the main lines of action of his legislature, the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, José Luis Aguirre, attacked "climate fanaticism" and pointed out that "the perverse 2030 Agenda threatens the countryside." , the industry and the progress of all Spaniards".

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a plan approved by the Member States of the United Nations in which they recognize that the greatest challenge in the world today is the eradication of poverty and affirm that without achieving it there can be no sustainable development. The Agenda proposes 17 Objectives with 169 goals of an integrated and indivisible nature that cover the economic, social and environmental spheres.

Aguirre has assured that Valencian farmers feel "cheated" and "abandoned" by a central government that prioritizes "climate fanaticism" and that prefers "animalism to farmers, the green pact to fishermen" and that defends more "the 2030 Agenda of globalist elites than the rural world. A statement that has received applause from his people.

In this sense, Aguirre highlighted that his department will provide “effective tools” to combat new pests and diseases and thus be able to face the challenges and new European guidelines that the sector faces. “The perverse Agenda 2030 threatens our countryside, our industry and the progress of all Spaniards,” he highlighted.

The Vox councilor has stressed that "there is a genuine submission to the globalist policies that come from Brussels" and has stated that "we fight to reverse those Brussels policies, this imposition of the 2030 Agenda that no one has voted for."

Among the priorities of the legislature, the head of Agriculture has announced the reform and regulatory development of Law 5/2019 on Agrarian Structures of the Valencian Community to “avoid the abandonment of agricultural lands, fight against depopulation, and achieve generational change , which allows the reactivation and subsistence of the sector”, facilitating access to ownership for young farmers and ranchers, which ensures the generational renewal “so necessary in this sector”.

Also, the development of a Plan for the promotion of Families and generational change in the Rural world of the Valencian Community. All this, together with the simplification of bureaucratic procedures and the affordable management of aid for farmers and ranchers.

Aguirre has defended the livestock sector and has criticized "the criminalization by the political class and pseudo-ecologists." He has also called the animal welfare regulations "fanatical."

At this point, he has mentioned sectors that are in a situation of "extreme gravity" in the Valencian Community, such as the rabbit sector, dairy farming, beekeeping and wild cattle, which was explicitly excluded from aid during the crisis. of Covid. Along these lines, Aguirre has assured that the Valencian Government will “specifically” support this sector because it is the one that “represents the greatest cultural tradition.”

In the midst of the debate on aid for bullfighting and the promotion of bullfighting, Aguirre's words have received applause from the deputies of Vox and the PP.
