Vox advocates reformulating the Anti-Fraud Agency in the middle of the negotiation to elect a director

Neither PSPV nor Compromís have any intention of supporting one of the two candidates to lead the Anti-Fraud Agency who were presented last week in Les Corts Valencianes. The Ombudsman of Compromís, Joan Baldoví, denounced this Tuesday the PP's maneuver to place "a close collaborator of former president Eduardo Zaplana" while his socialist counterpart, José Muñoz, stressed that Eduardo Beut's proposal "demonstrates that the PP wants to put a person of his strictest confidence" at the head of the institution. Meanwhile, PP and Vox have indicated that they are unaware of the resumes of both candidates to avoid commenting on them.

And in the middle of these statements, which denote the lack of consensus to elect the new director of the Anti-Fraud Agency, the Vox ombudsman, José María Llanos, has reiterated that his group is against the existence of the Agency and has indicated that , although it does not depend exclusively on them, they would like to "modify the Agency as much as possible." Llanos has spoken directly about his "disappearance, reconversion or location", so that he does not depend on Les Corts or does not have the rank he currently has.

The new Vox spokesperson did not want to give more details on the matter and has reiterated his party's position regarding the institution.

Asked about these statements, the PP ombudsman, Miguel Barrachina, indicated that Antifraud "could have done much more" in response to certain complaints such as those he made about the contracts of the Morella City Council and has assured that "he has the feeling that the Agency has the capacity to work much more." Of course, Barrachina has indicated that he is not the one "to determine the future organization" of the entity.

PP and Vox have been clearer regarding the opposition's request to expand the investigation commission on the public sector to popular governments. Both have agreed in arguing that the left has had 8 years to do so and that it has opened many commissions on public companies specifically such as Ciegsa or Feria Valencia. Therefore, they understand that now it is not necessary to expand the object of study.

The PSPV ombudsman has responded: "The audit of the years of management of the PP has already been done by the judges and courts."
