The president of the PSC group, Fernando Carrera, with a representation of the AV de Sistrells visited Turó d'en Caritg last week. Carrera has been able to verify the neglect suffered by the park, aggravated during the last months by an obvious lack of cleaning.
As the neighbors have explained to the PSC, the park is in a situation of total neglect; non-functioning water fountains, broken streetlights, stolen sewers and, above all, lack of cleanliness. Carrera has asked the government to intensify cleaning, because in some places the park seems to be a real dump.
On the other hand, Fernando Carrera recalled that the PP government of 2021, and the PSC, approved an allocation of one and a half million euros to improve the park. Carrera has asked the municipal government to unblock the project.
