The PP snatches a seat on the Board from the PSPV and hands it over to Compromís; Puig only places Bravo

Capital surprise in the constitution of Les Corts Valencianes. A secret pact between Compromís and PP has allowed the Valencianistas to occupy a position on the Mesa de Les Corts. The right-wing bench has given Maria Josep Amigó the necessary votes (18) to overcome the PSPV candidate. A tight 32-31 has meant that the four groups in the chamber have a representative on the Table: Two the PP (vice president and first secretary); one Vox (the president); one the PSPV (second vice president) and one Compromís (second secretary).

Thus, the Socialists who aspired to two positions and have attended the recount stupefied, are left with only one position in the Les Corts government body that will be occupied by the outgoing Minister of Justice, Gabriela Bravo.

The president of the PP and future president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, explained that the votes for Compromís came "exclusively" from his party after conversations with representatives of the Valencian coalition. However, the leader of Compromís, Vicent Marzà (Baldoví has preferred not to make statements) has denied the existence of an agreement, since he has assured that his formation has not given anything in return. The truth is that in Compromís they knew that the PP would support them despite Marzà's surprise.

In the ranks of the PSPV, the acting Minister Arcadi Spain has regretted that the legislature begins with a pact between Compromís and the PP. "It is clear that the only alternative to PP-Vox is the PSPV", he stressed.

After the exciting vote, Les Corts Valencianes are already constituted and the calendar for the investiture of the popular Carlos Mazón, winner of the regional elections of 28-M, is launched.

As a result of the pact between PP and Vox, Les Corts, Llanos Massó has been elected president with the 53 votes of the two formations that reached an early agreement to govern the Valencian Community.

Given the secrecy of his appointment, it was not known until this Monday who would occupy the rest of the positions in the governing body of the autonomous Parliament. Finally, the first vice president will be Alfredo Castelló (PP) and the first secretary Gabriela Bravo (PSPV). The popular deputy has obtained 53 votes and the socialist 31 from the PSPV.

The General Secretary of the Valencian Socialists and Acting President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has chosen to raise the Minister of Justice and Public Administration, Gabriela Bravo, to the Table. He had also proposed Josefina Bueno for Innovation and Universities, Science, but she lost after the pact between Compromís and the PP.

With these appointments, the right has the majority (PP, two, and Vox, one) and will be able to schedule the investiture of Carlos Mazón as best suits it. In his subsequent statements, the PP candidate has asked to expedite the deadlines, but the PSPV has not been very supportive
