The trial against Francisco Camps at the National Court for the contracts of the Generalitat Valenciana between the years 2004 and 2009 with Orange Market, a company of the Gürtel network directed by Álvaro Pérez, el Bigotes, was seen yesterday for judgment. This is the last piece in which the former president was charged. The fiscal ministry claims that Camps was the "zero patient" who offered the Gürtel, specifically the businessman Álvaro Pérez, to move to Valencia, where he obtained public contracts and "parasitized" the institutions. In addition, he accuses him of having given instructions to officials and high-ranking officials to contract the plot for the assembly of an exhibitor at Fitur in 2009.
But his lawyer defended yesterday before the court that "there is no instruction, there is no order, there is no influence, there is no induction (...) there is nothing". The lawyer quipped about the possible existence of a "telepathic induction" by Camps to hire Gürtel and wondered if "all the subjects" of Camps, as president of the Generalitat Valenciana, do what he says when there is no " nor an official” who has admitted that they followed his instructions “to hire neither that nor anything”.
