The General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) has updated the number of beneficiaries of what is known as the 'only yes is yes' law and has increased the sentence reductions to 943 and the releases to 103 in application of the rule that came into force on October 7, according to sources from the government body consulted by Europa Press.

These same sources have specified that the figure could increase in the coming days because there are still provincial hearings and superior courts of justice pending to report their data.

On March 2, the CGPJ officially reported that there were 721 reductions and 74 releases throughout Spain due to the revisions made by the Organic Law of Comprehensive Guarantee of Sexual Freedom.
