The Catalan PP directly targets Illa for the Koldo case: "Let no one get away with it"

The PP of Catalonia has targeted the first secretary of the PSC, Salvador Illa, for his management at the head of the Ministry of Health during the pandemic, when the alleged corrupt plot for the sale and purchase of masks led by Koldo García, at the time an advisor, was operating. of the then Minister of Transport, José Luis Ábalos, today in the pillory.

"Let no one get away with it," exclaimed the general secretary of the Catalan PP, Santi Rodríguez, at an event held this Saturday in Barcelona in which he attacked Koldo's "friends", in reference to Ábalos but also to Santos. Cerdán, current secretary of organization of the PSOE, for his alleged links with a company whose sole purpose, as explained by the also deputy in Congress, was "to suck off the boat."

The president of the PP of Catalonia, Alejandro Fernández, has stressed the same line in his speech, accusing Illa of exhibiting "clearly deficient" management in Health, a balance that "could be even worse", he predicted, if confirm some of the information that is being spread these days.

Without wishing to put the "fan" of defamation without evidence, Fernández has pointed out, what he does consider "essential" is that the former minister, who aspires to preside over the Generalitat after the next Catalan elections, gives explanations and clears up any "shadow of "doubt" about his management in a ministry as sensitive as that of Health in the worst public health crisis in a hundred years. "That it be explained, that it is not hidden and that this information be clarified," demanded the leader of the popular Catalans.

These statements occurred at an event in which the PP of Catalonia has brought together its entire staff to give an image of unity after the internal tensions experienced as a result of the questioning of the leadership of Alejandro Fernández after his confrontation with the strategy of Génova due to the attempted approach to Junts in the failed negotiations for the investiture of Alberto Núñez Feijóo.

With a "strong" party "rearmed in the institutions", Fernández has assured, the margins for growth, “after some difficult times”, as demonstrated in the last general elections, will be wide in the next electoral events. Also in the Catalan ones, in which the PP hopes to jump from the three current deputies in the Parliament to consolidate itself, as the deputy in Congress Nacho Martín Blanco has said, as the "pal de paller of constitutionalism in Catalonia."

In a state key, the person in charge of setting the political message of the PP on a day in which Feijóo has traveled to Valencia to express his mourning for the victims of the fire, this Saturday has been Elías Bendodo, who has taken stock of the first hundred days of government of Pedro Sánchez pointing out that they have been marked by the "blackmail" of Carles Puigdemont and the "corruption" of the Koldo case, whom he has accused of leading a "criminal organization", as the National Court has defined his fraudulent business network.

But the deputy secretary of regional and municipal policy of the PP has not limited himself to pointing out the former advisor of the former Minister of Transport, but has pointed much higher, directly to Pedro Sánchez, of whom he has shown a smiling photo with Koldo García and Santos Cerdán : "Who thinks they didn't know anything?" asked the Andalusian deputy.

To finish his invective against the PSOE, Bendodo has acted as playwright and has distributed the roles in the corrupt plot that is being investigated: "a hitman" who executed the orders, Koldo; "a boss" who transmitted them, Ábalos; "a godfather", a term that denotes a mafia structure, a role that has been reserved for Santos Cerdán, and "a maximum leader", the President of the Government himself.
