Catalonia celebrates the Day of September 11, 2023, marked this year by the conditions of the Catalan independentists - centered on an amnesty for those affected by 1-O - to negotiate the investiture of the next president of the Spanish Government.
The official acts have started with the floral offerings of institutions, parties, unions and entities to the monument to Rafael Casanova, starting with the members of the Government, with the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, at the head.
Following the same pattern as in previous years, the ANC has called for a demonstration in the center of Barcelona at 5:14 p.m., starting from four different sites - Sants Station, headquarters of the Treasury, City of Justice and Proa School - to converge in Plaza Espanya.
The celebrations close with the institutional act of the Diada, next to the Montjuïc fountains, with the common thread of defending the Catalan language and with the presence of the president of the Congress, Francina Armengol.
