A representative of the PPdeG has allegedly assaulted one of Sumar Galicia in the electoral college of Balaídos District 4, in Vigo, as reported by the formation led by Yolanda Díaz.
The incident occurred at 12:45 p.m., when, according to Sumar's story, a PP representative was inside one of the booths "manipulating the ballots and hiding those of the other parties."
Sumar Galicia's agent called his attention and urged him to leave the cabin, from which, according to that party, the woman came out and pushed the man, who fell and hit his head against a table and remained unconscious for a few minutes.
In a statement, they explain that it was a BNG representative who called the ambulance, which took the injured man to the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital, where he is currently awaiting evaluation and reports of injuries. The National Police arrived at the scene and collected the complaint from Sumar's representative.
As soon as they learned of the events, even before the ambulance had arrived, Sumar's deputy in Congress Verónica Martínez Barbero and the number 1 on the party list for Pontevedra, Ramón Sarmiento, appeared at the school, who was able to speak with the attorney attacked as soon as he regained consciousness and just before being taken to the hospital.
According to Sumar, the three members of the board, as well as the two representatives of the BNG and another representative of Sumar Galicia corroborate the facts.
The legal services of Sumar Galicia are evaluating the situation to take the appropriate actions.
