Voters have a new appointment this Thursday with televised debates. After the face-to-face meeting last Monday at Atresmedia, this time it is the seven parliamentary spokespersons of the formations with the most presence in Congress who will try to counter their proposals. The 7-person debate is hosted by RTVE and can be followed through its channels -and the La Vanguardia website- starting at 10:00 p.m.

Specifically, the candidates entering the fray are Patxi López (PSOE), Cuca Gamarra (PP), Iván Espinosa de los Monteros (VOX), Aina Vidal (Sumar), Gabriel Rufián (ERC), Aitor Esteban (PNV) and Oskar Matute (EH Bildu). The journalist Xabier Fortes moderates the meeting that takes place in Estudio 6 in Prado del Rey (Madrid).

As reported by RTVE, the debate will last 125 minutes, structured into four thematic blocks: economy; social politics; land policy; and state and post-electoral pacts. There will also be a final turn of one minute for each participant (golden minute). The opening and closing turns of each block and the positions of the spokespersons on the set have been established by lottery. The stopwatches to measure the times of the interventions will be managed by professional sports referees.
