The National Political Council (CPN) has re-elected Rosa Pérez Garijo this Saturday as coordinator of Esquerra Unida del País Valencià, a position she had already held since April 2018. Pérez Garijo has obtained 61% of the support of the CPN compared to 39% of votes collected by Pedro Mario Pardo Amorós, candidate presented by the members of candidacy B.
In his speech, Garijo called for the unity of the entire organization in the face of "the rise of the extreme right in the institutions and on the streets."
He has also thanked the support received by both the militancy and the CPN and has focused on "the new organizational challenges" and the "strengthening" of EUPV as "the main transformative force of the left in the Valencian Country", according to what he stated. training in a statement.
