Podemos reported this Monday of the filing of a complaint against the judge of the National Court, Manuel García-Castellón, as well as against the reinforcement magistrate of the central investigative court number 6 Joaquín Gadea, for alleged crimes of prevarication, revelation of secrets and failure to pursue criminal conduct. It should be remembered that the magistrate tried to accuse the vice president of the government and founder of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, for supposedly destroying the memory card of the phone of one of his advisors, Dina Bousselham.
The state co-spokesperson of the party, Pablo Fernández, has been in charge of making official the complaint, formalized in the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, against both judges who are investigating the so-called Dina' piece of the Tándem case, in which the the journey that the former party advisor's phone card took from when her cell phone was stolen in 2015 until some of the information it contained was published in the media.
Fernández has assured that the actions of both judges are a "paradigmatic" and "palmary" case of lawfare, operating outside the rules that regulate judicial action with a "prospective" investigation whose "sole objective" has been to "reputationally harm " to Podemos.
In the complaint, according to the purple co-spokesman, the leak of each of the milestones of that investigation is referred to with a view to harming his political organization, until at the request of the third section of the criminal chamber of the The National Court ordered the archiving of the proceedings.
"We must point out the fundamental and absolutely decisive role that many media outlets have had after hours and hours of television and radio, front pages and newspaper pages have been dedicated to spreading and disseminating the magnetized hoaxes of this investigation carried out by both judges (...) This clearly shows that connivance, that symbiosis between certain judges and certain media outlets between the Judiciary and the media power that are allied and that work together to attack and harm Podemos" , he has denounced.
Finally, Fernández has accused both magistrates of perpetrating "genuine infamy" and "an absolute shame" in their judicial actions.
