EUPV will turn to Díaz's act, Compromís will send representation and Podem awaits the agreement

Esquerra Unida will focus on the debut of Yolanda Díaz from Madrid as a candidate for the Presidency of the Government in the next general elections. The party integrated in the Unides Podem coalition (with a councilor and two deputies in the regional Parliament) will send its top leader, Rosa Pérez Garijo, as well as its head of Organization, Luis Poveda, and the person in charge of Political Development, Nahuel González .

A landing that shows the EU's commitment to this new project that tries to get ahead, not without difficulties and misgivings on the part of the political space that it aspires to lead.

A good account of this is Podem's position. Despite the fact that the vice president and candidate for the Generalitat, Héctor Illueca, has always opted for unity and has shown his sympathy with Díaz (with whom he worked in the Ministry), he is now waiting for the state struggle between Podemos and Díaz to stir up to decide whether to attend the event.

"Illueca is focused on the regional and municipal elections that we have above," they explain from their surroundings. The same sources emphasize that the support of the purples for the vice president of the Government is a matter that must be clarified within the state framework. Therefore, it is expected that the conflict is resolved and there is some kind of agreement to find out if representation is sent from the Community.

Yes, they will send someone in Compromís. However, it is still not clear "which person or persons will attend," explained the coalition's candidate for the Generalitat, Joan Baldoví. The deputy in Congress, who maintains a very good relationship with Díaz, confirmed that Compromís is present, but warned that the greatest concern of the Valencian supporters now lies in the 28M elections where they hope to "revalidate progressive majorities in the city councils and in the Generalitat to reissue a new Botànic with a new impulse".

Compromís likes the idea of Sumar and the profile of Yolanda Díaz as a virtual candidate, but it does not want to have any role in the war that now seems to be opening between the second vice president and Podemos for control of the project. Hence, the names of those who will be in Madrid next Sunday are kept until the last moment.

While all this is happening, Podem and the EU do not agree to close an autonomous agreement that allows them to reissue their 2019 pact and present themselves the next 28M together on the same ballot. And this, despite the fact that they are aware that if they do not achieve it, they will disappear from the Valencian Hemicycle, since to enter it, it is necessary to overcome the 5% barrier. His absence in Parliament would make it difficult to reissue the Botànic.
