Cristina Pedroche and Dabiz Muñoz are now parents. The presenter gave birth to her first daughter at the age of 34 at the Montepríncipe hospital, in Madrid, around four in the morning on Friday. It was a natural, quick and uncomplicated birth, as Semana magazine reported. Sources close to the couple said that mother and daughter were doing great. After almost eight years of happy marriage, Pedroche has started a family with Muñoz, 43.
The news was made public yesterday Semana and after a few minutes the happy parents shared an image from the hospital showing the hands of all three. In the short text accompanying the image, both revealed the name they have chosen for the child: “We will love and protect you always. Laia Pedroche Muñoz". In this way, they also announce that the presenter's surname will be the first.
Laia is an abbreviation of Eulàlia in Catalan which, thanks to its repeated use, has become a name. Even so, Laia means the same as Eulàlia, i.e. "well-spoken". The origin of this female name is found in ancient Greece.
Cristina Pedroche confirmed the pregnancy a few hours before presenting the bells of 2023, after the press leaked the news. The presenter, who practices yoga, surprised her followers by stating that she wanted to have a hypnobirth – a technique that aims to combat the fear of childbirth through hypnosis – but it is not known if she has finally used this technique.
Since the good news was made public, the influencer has been very excited and happy, "filled with extreme love", she emphasized in many of her statements. She has also shared how her pregnancy has progressed on all her social networks, in which she has a large number of followers - she reaches three million on Instagram.
