Apotheosis Laura Pausini: honeymoon and world tour

At the beginning of the nineties, when songs had a greater radio life expectancy than they do today, the voice of a young Italian woman surprised us singing about teenage love. 30 years have passed since Laura Pausini lamented that "Marco left to not return" and now, with the maturity that years and experience have given him, he is embarking on a world tour that will be, at the same time, the celebration of their honeymoon. Love, as you can see, remains one of his vital pillars.

Preparing a tour of this magnitude is not an easy task. "My delivery is absolute, I don't conceive of it in any other way," explains Pausini to L aVanguardia, recounting that he has been preparing for this challenge for more than six months both physically and vocally. A challenge that comes after a somewhat complicated time in the personal field: "During these last two years I have had an intense battle with myself, a rollercoaster of emotions and a momentary break with my worries. A very complex thing to wear. I had thoughts of deep uncertainty about myself and my future." The blockage reached such a point that "I considered absolutely everything. I felt that I had already written and sung everything"; despite this, that gray cloud passed by and left him with a new way of facing life as a lesson: "I don't know and can't know what awaits us, but what I do know, and I really feel it, it's that I want to know what's around the corner and I want to do it by singing. Singing is my life, my emotion and my mission."

Like the romantic artist that she is, she says that "love is everything to me. And yes, I believe in love forever." Times have changed and the lyrics of the most commercial songs no longer exude the tenderness that theirs had, but "singing to love is not a fashion", no matter how much other trends prevail. In this sense, and regarding the debate that has opened up on the networks around the themes of spite performed by women such as Shakira, Miley Cyrus or Karol G, the Italian is clear that it is another way of conveying emotions. "We are in an era where everything is judged. I prefer not to judge. There are always many variables and I don't know every story. If you're someone in the media, whether you're a man or a woman, the controversy would have come out just the same", she reflects, adding that "as a woman, I can imagine how they feel, I've also lived through difficult times, but people manage to live it and overcome it in very different ways. And that doesn't mean that one thing is right and the other, wrong."

Another role that Laura Pausini plays with strength is that of mother: "My daughter Paola is this unquestionable love. For me she is everything". The girl is the result of her relationship with Paolo Carta, the musician who accompanies her on stage and with whom she started a romantic relationship 18 years ago. Just a month ago, he surprised by announcing his wedding on the networks, an intimate link that "was magical, with our 10-year-old daughter giving us the rings. And turning the world tour into our honeymoon is a true dream and the best gift Paolo and I could give each other. I feel very lucky and I can't wait to start our honeymoon around the world".

Gone are the moments of stress and anxiety experienced, the pressure that her job entails or the bad times that some of her collaborators, who are no longer with her, made her go through by telling her that she was not good enough or that he had to lose weight. Thirty years of career is a lot, but Laura Pausini stays not only with all the good things she has experienced, but also with all the good things to come. Their excitement and enthusiasm remain immeasurable.
