The trick to make your high heels more comfortable or, at least, tolerable

Last October it was known that Queen Letizia suffers from Morton's neuroma in her left foot, an ailment that adds to the chronic metatarsalgia she has suffered for years. The wife of King Felipe VI is a big fan of pumps and high-heeled sandals, but precisely this footwear with a heel of more than ten centimeters or very tight has been the culprit that in recent months the Queen has decided to wear moccasins and boots with a much more comfortable heel.

Heels stylize the figure but they also pose a risk to the health of the feet, especially in those girls who wear them almost every day. There is also the case of women who in their day to day opt for sneakers or flat shoes and, when they go out to a party, wear heart-stopping heels that leave their feet sore. Once again, TikTok provides the key to making heels much more comfortable in just a few steps.

The tiktoker @billiexnewland is a hit with a video in which she reveals several tricks to make high-heeled pumps more bearable. The first is to join the third and fourth fingers with an adhesive tape to relieve pressure inside. These toes share a nerve that is tense when they are spread when wearing this type of shoe for several hours, so if they are together this pressure will be reduced.

The tiktoker also reveals other tricks that will surely be familiar to more than one reader. One of the risks of wearing high-heeled pumps is that the soles can slip, especially when the footwear is new. The young woman suggests filing the sole with a nail file - sandpaper could also be used - to walk more safely.

Another problem is what happens when the shoe is too tight, which causes the dreaded appearance of chafing. The solution is to put Vaseline all over the foot so that it is more hydrated and that blisters do not appear.

And if the shoe is too big? According to the user, the trick is to spray the interior of the salons with hairspray or dry shampoo to make them more comfortable. Finally, share the trick of using talcum powder to combat foot odor.
