In terms of proximity in time, the same points out that Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid have the highest percentage of their population with essential services available within a 15-minute walk. In the case of València it meets the premise by 93%; and by bicycle the figures are up to 5% different.

Murcia is, of the large cities, the one that is "a little behind" compared to its counterparts and has the lowest percentage of population within 15 minutes, only 35%, but on the other hand, by bicycle it surpasses the other cities and reaches a 26%.

The study measures six variables including, among others, whether there are nearby grocery stores, health centers, work centers, green areas that guarantee quality of life, hospitality establishments and educational centers.
