Agents of the National Police, in collaboration with the Local Police of Palma, have arrested four people between the ages of 19 and 27, three of them Spanish and one of Indian origin, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health, when the police found narcotic substances in an eviction and subsequent demolition of the property, in Palma.

As reported by the National Police in a press release, in the last police operation carried out in the town of Son Banya, in Palma, related to the evictions and subsequent demolition of various buildings, it was stated that during the same, different narcotic substances and utensils that could be related to the sale of drugs, which is why the presence of the Narcotics group of the National Police that took charge of the investigation was requested.

The events occurred when, during the eviction, the agents observed a flat kitchen plate containing a white rocky substance, cocaine, with an estimated weight of between 30 and 40 grams, a glass jar with a wooden lid containing a green, apparently marijuana buds with an estimated weight of between 50 and 60 grams, a compact brown tablet, apparently hashish, with an estimated weight of between 80 and 90 grams, a shoebox containing money in metal, plastic cutouts prepared for the preparation and sealing of cocaine doses and a precision scale. They also located 28 heat-sealed plastic wrappers containing a brown rocky substance, heroin.

Once all the material containing a narcotic substance had been collected, the investigations began in order to clarify the facts and identify the presumed perpetrators.

After the pertinent steps, last Thursday, the agents of Group II of Narcotics of the National Police, where agents of the Local Police of Palma are integrated, located the presumed perpetrators, and proceeded to arrest them for a crime against public health, in which it is added that some of the detainees already had a record for similar events.

On the other hand, the Civil Guard has seized a cache of 772 kilos of cocaine distributed in 22 bales when they were going to be introduced along the coast of Barbate, in Cádiz. In addition, two short firearms have been intervened with ammunition and ready to be used.

The Benemérita has explained in a statement that last Monday, May 1, the agents operating in the Integral External Surveillance System (SIVE) detected a boat that was navigating suspiciously towards the area of ​​the cliffs of the Parque Natural de la Brena in the town of Barbate. Various Citizen Security units and the Organized Crime and Anti-Drug Team (EDOA) of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard of Cádiz attended the scene.
