More than 200 RED editors will interview the musical group The Tyets

Two hundred students from various schools in Catalonia will attend the 'La Quedada' event, a Junior Report initiative that will allow them to interview the Mataron singers Xavier Coca and Oriol de Ramon, better known as The Tyets.

The event will take place on April 29 at 4:00 p.m. at the Social HUB of the Fundació Bofill. The students of the RED project will participate in the macro interview accredited with press passes and equipped with mobile phones and cameras to record images of the day. Each school newsroom will have the opportunity to ask some questions to the artists of the moment. Junior editors will act as professional journalists and experience journalism experientially in a real context.

The event has the participation of 19 school magazines: Satorras Report, STM Report, IE Lluís Millet Report, Nostra Senyora Report, Fedac Sant Andreu Report, El Pilar Report, GEM Report, La Salle Premià Report, Ins Montgròs Report, Creu de Saba Report, Roca Report, Tordària Report, Pérez Iborra Report, Els Roures Report, L'Alzina Report, IE Rec Comtal Report Fedac Horta Report, Pineda L'H Report and La Muntanyeta Report.

The Digital School Magazine (RED) initiative, promoted by the newspaper Junior Report and with the support of LCI Barcelona, ​​Blanquerna and Acer for Education, collaborates with more than 100 educational centers throughout Spain that manage, direct and write their own school newspapers.

The 'La Quedada' event is one of the activities that take place outside the classroom and that allows editors to cover events as professional journalists. In addition to this activity, the project has allowed students to cover events in the world of culture, such as theater performances, the Gaudí Awards gala; enjoy radio and music workshops taught by professionals; and also interview recognized personalities such as the presenter and voice actor Jordi Cruz, the writers Care Santos, Paula Ferrer y Molina, Silvestre Vilaplana and Blue Jeans.
